Paraguayan footballer Jose Pedroso lost his head after the referee Marcelo Miranda blew a whistle for a foul against his team. The match was set up in the second division of the Chilean league. Taking prompt action, Pedroso was banned for 27 matches but the ban will only be enforced in Chile.
The ban constitutes of 20 matches for the initial attack, five for a second attempt and two for the red card shown by the referee. Here’s a video of the event:
