According to SportBild, Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has asked Ed Woodward to sign Thomas Muller from Bayern Munich.
According to the German outlet, Van Gaal wants Muller at Manchester United regardless of the price.

Manchester United star Angel Di Maria is set to complete a move to PSG later this week and Van Gaal wants the Bayern Munich star to replace Di Maria at United.
Earlier this week, Van Gaal claimed that United need a superstar signing to bridge the gap with Barcelona and Real Madrid. It seems Muller is the star he is chasing.
Although Bayern Munich are unwilling to sell and it seems the player is happy at Bayern, United are confident that a 100 million euro offer could turn heads in Munich.
