Turn based newspaper Tuttosport are concerned with Arturo Vidal’s future at Juventus. Only a week ago, it seemed like his relationship with Juventus is a marriage made in heaven, when Vidal spoke about his desire to continue with The Old Lady despite strong rumours of interest from Manchester United. But Vidal’s night club brawl ahead of Juventus’ crunch league tie with Roma and the subsequent demotion to the bench has changed his position at the club all of a sudden.

Tuttosport claim that Vidal’s future is “unpredictable” at the moment, and yesterday they speculated the Chilean might leave the club to join Manchester United in January, mainly for financial reasons.

Beppe Marotta, the CEO of Juventus, is aware that the situation could get out of control, and the club has already started looking for alternatives, in case Vidal leaves in January.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Juventus are targeting Bayern Munich’s highly rated attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri who was also a reported target of Liverpool in the summer.

The Swiss footballer has struggled to cement regular starting position in the star studded Bayern Munich squad and says he wants new adventure in January and will meet with the club officials to discuss his future.

The news would come as music to the ears of Manchester United fans who surely will happy to see Vidal joining Old Trafford in January. United have also enquired about the possibility of signing Kevin Stoortman but Roma are refusing to sell him at any cost.
