Leeds United are closing in on the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa as their new manager.
As per the reports, a deal has been agreed in principle and the Championship outfit are hoping to announce the deal within the next seven days.
Bielsa has already agreed to terms with the Whites but he is yet to sign the contract. The 62-year-old has been in talks with Leeds over the last few days regarding his wage package.
If things do not go according to plan, Leeds will look at Steve Bruce as an alternative. The Aston Villa manager is a bit of a promotion specialist.
However, Andrea Radrizzani is confident of landing Bielsa this summer.
The arrival of the South American would be a major coup for Leeds United. Bielsa is a world-class coach and he will take the Whites to another level.
Bielsa is currently seeking guarantees over his transfer budget and it will be interesting to see whether the Whites can convince him with their ambitions.
