German Champions Bayern Munich are preparing a shock move for Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj in the summer.
The 19 year old Belgium born youngster, who has impressed this season, had signed a five year contract with Manchester United in October. But reigning European Champions Bayern Munich are looking to tempt Januzaj into a move in the summer, claims The Daily Mail.
Pep Guardiola is said to have been looking out for long term replacements for Frank Ribery and Arjen Robben, and the Spanish tactician believes that his side could lure the youngster away to the Allianz Arena.
Guardiola is known for his willingness to nurture young talents, and Januzaj would surely find it immensely difficult to turn down a move to the Bavarians if an offer does arrive.
Given United’s dismal performance this season in the Premier League, David Moyes’ men are set to miss out on a Champions League berth next season.
French Champions Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a £40m bid earlier this year in January but the story has since died down.
Should the teenager leave Old Trafford, Bayern would surely be a preferred destination for the United player. United though will desperately try to avoid yet another Paul Pogba incident, with the bright Frenchman leaving for Juventus two years ago.
