Manchester United host Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday aiming to show that they can transfer their recent upturn in form onto the Champions League stage.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has got off to a dream start as the club’s temporary manager, reeling off an 11-game unbeaten run since replacing Jose Mourinho.

Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo remain on the sidelines for United, but they have no other major injury concerns.

PSG will be without Neymar, with the Brazil forward out of both legs of the tie due to a metatarsal injury.

Edinson Cavani is also out with a thigh injury, while Thomas Meunier misses the game due to concussion.

United progressed to the last 16 of the tournament after finishing second behind Juventus in the group stage.

PSG finished ahead of Liverpool in their group, but their recent record in England is poor.

They have won just one of their 10 away games in all competitions against English opposition, with their only victory coming at Chelsea in 2016.

Predicted starting line-ups:

Man Utd: De Gea, Young, Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Matic, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

PSG: Buffon, Kehrer, Kimpembe, Silva, Bernat, Marquinhos, Verratti, Alves, Draxler, Di Maria, Mbappe.
