Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos has been linked with a stunning move to Real Madrid after his agent offered the player to the Galacticos, claim Spanish Newspaper El Confidential.
Kroos’ contract runs till the summer of 2015 but the 24 year old German midfielder is yet to agree on a contract extension with the Bavarian club.
His outspoken agent Francois Gallardo had earlier claimed to Spanish newspaper La Sexta,
“It’s about a top player who does not want to renew his contract. His goal is to move to Real Madrid.
The player is part of one of the best national teams and will go to the World Cup. The country in which he plays for is Germany. The club is a top club: FC Bayern Munich. It is not Bastian Schweinsteiger.
“And it’s not about an Austrian. It’s about a German. The player who does not want to extend and wants to change in the summer to Real Madrid, is Toni Kroos.”
Premier League giants Manchester United have also been linked to Kroos but we reported a week ago that Bayern aren’t interested to let go their prized asset for any price.
The player also distanced himself from the Red Devils following the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in the first leg of the Champions League last week saying he belongs to Bayern.
Pep Guardiola’s team recently lost to FC Augsburg which ended their dream run of 53 games unbeaten in the Bundesliga but the already crowned German Champions remains best placed to progress in the semi finals of Europe’s elite club competition as they host the Red Devils for the second leg at the Allianz Arena in midweek.
