Real Madrid went back on top of the La Liga table with two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and two from Gonzalo Higuain.
It was a fantastic start for the visitors who would grab a 4-0 lead in the first half before Getafe would score their two goals.
The goals fro Ronaldo came in the 13th and 37th minute while Higuain’s were in the 20th and 23rd minute. Getafe’s goals were from Daniel Parejo in the 38th minute and Pedro Leon in the 80th minute.
The win puts Real Madrid level on points with Barcelona but ahead because of a +2 in goal difference.
