Manchester United take on the mighty Bayern Munich in tonight’s blockbuster Champions League quarter final first leg, with Old Trafford set to host a fascinating encounter.
Considering the plight of David Moyes and his side in the Premier League throughout this campaign, if they lose the tie, this could be the last Champions League match at Old Trafford for years, with United almost certain to miss out on a qualifying spot this season.
But, being United, they will certainly have a chance of coming out on top, even against the stiffest of opposition, but they will have to do it without the suspended Juan Mata and the injured Robin van Persie.
Moyes has opted for the experienced Ryan Giggs alongside Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini in a packed midfield, with Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck looking to provide pace and width to the side.
Wayne Rooney spearheads the team against the defending European Champions, who boast the likes of Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, and reported United target, Toni Kroos in their ranks tonight.
