Manchester United are thought to be one of the busier sides this January transfer window, with a number of potential deals emerging on transfer deadline day.
One of the main names linked with a switch to Old Trafford has been Toni Kroos, who has seen his future at Bayern Munich thrown up in the air of late.
After the midfielder reacted angrily to being substituted by Pep Guardiola on Wednesday night, reports in the British press have been rife over a potential move for Kroos to Manchester.
The Germany international has all the attributes to reinvigorate the Red Devils’ midfield, and is out of contract in the summer of 2015.
Guardiola has even admitted that there could be a chance that Kroos could leave.
However, Jan Aage Fjortoft, a former professional player and now respected journalist in Germany has stated that Kroos will be going nowhere today.
The Norwegian former Swindon Town striker has stated that there could well be a chance of Kroos departing the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, but that the playmaker would remain in Bavaria to the end of the season.
United have already added Juan Mata to their squad this month, and are thought to be working hard to add other new faces today also.
