Andrew was among the winners with NASSALAM (2-1) and SPEYCASTER (11-4) on Friday and has four selections for the horse racing actions at Bangor, Doncaster, and Newbury on Saturday November 27th:

DONCASTER 12.05

VINTAGE GLEN (system – Rose Dobbin in handicaps at Doncaster)

In-form handler Rose Dobbin has a solid record with her handicappers at Doncaster, scoring with six of the 38 runners for a small profit at SP (+£1.75). Those who wore any form of headgear were five from 17 for a profit of £9.75 and backing just the fancied ones (SP of 6-1 or shorter) would have found five winners from eight bets (+£18.75). VINTAGE GLEN, who wears a tongue-tie, is forecast to start as the 11-4 favourite and looks set to go close at least.

BANGOR 12.15

BUTLER’S BRIEF (system – Alastair Ralph chase debutants in handicap company)

Alastair Ralph has scored with three of his last six runners (10-1, 11-10 and 8-13) and it could be worth taking a chance on BUTLER’S BRIEF now that he switches to fences in this 2m4f handicap chase. His yard’s chase debutants who are pitched straight into a handicap are showing a profit of £10.00 to a £1 level stake at SP thanks to two winners from 11 runners, with four of the beaten horses placed.

THE KING OF QUINTA (system – Nigel Twiston-Davies in “Junior” Bumpers)

Nigel Twiston-Davies doesn’t have many runners in “Junior” Bumpers but they usually acquit themselves well. He had three winners (9-1, 10-11 and 4-6) from just four runners last year and is 0-1 so far in 2021. £40,000 purchase KING OF QUINTA could be up to making a winning debut here.

NEWBURY 3.00

CLOUDY GLEN (system – Venetia Williams chasers on first run after a wind operation)

With rain forecast, conditions might be soft enough for the Venetia Williams-trained CLOUDY GLEN to sneak into the frame at a big price on his reappearance. The in-form trainer is seven from 19 with chasers returning from wind surgery (+£21.25 to a £1 level stake at SP) and Cloudy Glen has won at the first time of asking in two of the last three seasons.
