Punchestown Festival Bankers on Day Three (Thursday 28th April 2022)

5.25 Punchestown: KLASSICAL DREAM @ 13/8 with BoyleSports – Won this race last year and will be a popular selection to follow up for the Willie Mullins stable that have won this prize 5 times in the last 10 runnings. Last seen running a fair 5th in the Stayer’s Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and back to a track he’s 2-from-3 at.

6.35 Punchestown: GENTLEMAN DE MEE @ 10/11 with BoyleSports – Lowered the colours of the Arkle Cheltenham Festival winner – Edwardstone – last time at Aintree and looks an exciting Novice 2m Chaser for the Willie Mullins camp. Still only a 6 year-old and lightly-raced so every reason to feel there is more to come.

7.45 Punchestown: JAMES’S GATE @ 8/15 with BoyleSports – Was third in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival which is the best form on offer here. Therefore, if running to that level again will be hard to beat, while trainer Willie Mullins has won this race 4 times since 2013.
