West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is resigned to staying at the Hawthorns until January at least as he seemed to be in jovial mood in the Baggies’ team photo for the 2015/16 season.
Berahino posted a photo on Twitter earlier today on the sidelines of the official team photo session for the season, weeks after he created a fracas by publicly refusing to play for his club after a transfer to fellow Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur fell through.

Last week, the Guardian carried quotes from West Brom’s director of football administration, Richard Garlick, that Spurs had bid four times for the English striker but they were rebuffed as both clubs failed to reach common ground on the player’s fee.
Manager Tony Pulis also admitted Berahino will have a difficult time in reintegrating himself into the side, but gave the 22-year-old a chance of redemption at the weekend when he came of the bench in the club’s 0-0 draw with Southampton.
With Berahino accepting his fate to remain at the club for the immediate future, it seems things could be on the up for the young striker following a period of unprecedented drama in the dying stages of the summer transfer window.
