Manchester United have been linked with the former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
According to latest reports (via SportWitness), the Premier League giants have a verbal agreement with the Portuguese manager and everything will be signed and sealed once the move is approved by the Manchester United owners.
Current manager Louis Van Gaal is expected to leave at the end of the season and the world-class Portuguese could be the one to replace him this summer. Van Gaal has failed to win a single trophy despite spending huge sums of money on new signings.
Manchester City and Chelsea could be managed by the likes of Guardiola and Conte next season and it seems that Manchester United are keen to sort out a quality appointment as well.
Mourinho was sacked towards the end of 2015 by Chelsea, after a poor start to the season.
Time will tell if there is any truth in these rumours. It would be a sensible appointment if Manchester United pulled it off. The Old Trafford outfit desperately need a change and Mourinho is one of the very best in the world.
The Portuguese manager won the Premier League last year with Chelsea.
