According to reports in Italian website Sportsmediaset, Manchester United midfielder Luis Nani could leave the Red Devils in the summer to join Serie A outfit AC Milan. It is believed that the Italian club’s vice-president Adriano Galliani is working hard to bring in players to the San Siro in the summer and Nani is one of the names in that list.
We had earlier reported that Serie A Champions Juventus were linked with the player but the news has died down ever since. The Red Devils according to the report, want €14m for the Portuguese but Milan don’t want to rush ahead with the deal.
The Rosonerri are willing to wait until the end of August for the player’s price for drop drastically. The club first wants to sort out the situation regarding Robinho and now that Juventus, after the resignation of Antonio Conte has dropped out of the race, it would be a little easier for Milan to pursue their interest in the 27 year old.
Nani has endured a difficult season for United under David Moyes thanks to injuries but the World Cup experience with Portugal would give him huge confidence. New manager Louis Van Gaal will assess the situation of the player and will then decide whether he wants the winger to stay at Old Trafford for the coming season.
