Manchester United fans will be delighted with the news that their injured left-back Luke Shaw is ready to start training next month.
The 20-year-old full-back suffered a double fracture in his right leg against PSV back in September and was expected to be out for the season.
However, the England international has been completely focused on his rehabilitation and could return to action earlier than expected. Shaw could be back playing for Manchester United before the end of the season according to the Telegraph.
Furthermore, if Manchester United manage to reach the finals of UEFA Europa League, Shaw will be eligible to play in it, provided he recovers in time. This also means that Shaw’s Euro 2016 dreams are very much alive at the moment.
The former Southampton defender started the season very well and was one of Manchester United’s best players in the first two months of the season. Losing him has been a major blow for Louis Van Gaal, who has had to field a makeshift back four quite a few times this season.
