Liverpool fans will have plenty of interest in this summer’s World Cup, with eight Reds players taking part in the tournament in Russia 2018.
The 2018 World Cup gets underway on June 14 when the hosts take on Saudi Arabia and a month-long feast of football will culminate with the final in Moscow on July 15.
The Reds will be represented by Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Simon Mignolet, Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Marko Grujic.
Firmino is Liverpool’s most likely World Cup winner, with Brazil currently joint-favourites with Germany to lift football’s most prestigious trophy.
Alexander-Arnold and Henderson will hope to inspire England to a better showing than they have managed at previous major tournaments, while Salah is battling to recover from his shoulder injury to take his place in Egypt’s line-up.
