Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has provided an interesting update on Odsonne Edouard’s future.

The centre back believes that Edouard will stay at Celtic next season. He also added that the young striker is quite happy at the club.

The striker has been linked with a move away from Parkhead for a while now and several European clubs are looking at him.

It will be interesting to see if Celtic can hold on to him beyond this summer.

He is the best player at the club and keeping him would be a huge boost for Neil Lennon and Celtic.

Jullien’s claims will certainly excite the Celtic fans as well.

The defender said (quotes via Scottish Sun): He said: “Odsonne was in Glasgow last time I spoke to him, and he is doing well. He’s a very good player, and one day he will have a lot of clubs interested in him. But he’s in a really good place with Celtic. He’s done some unbelievable stuff, and I really hope he will still be here. I enjoy playing with him, and I want him to stay for as long as he can. That would be unbelievable for everyone at Celtic. It’s so difficult just now with the current situation. People speak about transfers, but who knows when football will be back? After that all the other stuff can happen. Don’t worry, I’m sure Odsonne is good and happy where he is. I’m sure he will stay. He is a bit silent, he hides what he is feeling, and he is someone who controls his emotions. But Odsonne’s a really good guy. Trust me, he is quite happy here.”

Edouard is a fan favourite and the Celtic faithful will want to see him at the club next season.

The Frenchman has scored 27 goals so far this season and he will be hoping to guide his side to the title this summer.

Celtic will aim to win the title ten times in a row next season and Edouard staying would greatly enhance their chances.

The 22-year-old could reserve his place in Celtic history if he helps them win their tenth title in a row next season.
