The FA Cup continues apace this week, with the fifth round line-up featuring some intriguing ties over the next three days.

Manchester United booked their place in the next FA Cup draw with a 1-0 home victory over West Ham United – Scott McTominay bagged the winner in extra-time.

Burnley crashed out of the competition as they were beaten 2-0 by Bournemouth at Turf Moor – Sam Surridge and Junior Stanislas got the goals.

Manchester City eased into the last eight with a 3-1 victory at Swansea City – Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus were on target for Pep Guardiola’s team.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s last gasp goal sealed a 1-0 win for Leicester City at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Billy Sharp was on target from the penalty spot as Sheffield United nabbed a 1-0 home win against Bristol City.

The final fixture on Wednesday was a cracker with Everton eventually securing a 5-4 victory over Tottenham Hotspur after extra-time – Bernard scored the winner.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are out of the competition after losing 2-0 at home to Southampton – Danny Ings and Stuart Armstrong got the goals.

Tammy Abraham bagged the only goal of the game as Chelsea recorded a narrow 1-0 victory at Barnsley.
