Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouassi has showered heaps of praise on fellow teammate, claiming that he is a “huge talent”.
The 20-year-old joined Celtic from Paris Saint Germain on loan last season and made a strong impact. Although he didn’t get regular chances, he made the full use of limited opportunities that earned him a permanent move this summer.
According to reports from BBC, the Bhoys spent in the region of £8 million as fee for the French forward which the club described as their “biggest transfer”.
He scored 11 goals in 29 appearances last season, and is expected to play an integral role for Brendan Rodgers’s side going forward.
Eddy, as he is affectionately known, is gradually growing into the player that Celtic invested in, and at £8 million he looks good value for money.
Kouassi believes that Eduard has a bright future and predicts that he will become one of the best players in the world in the future.
He adds that the 20-year-old is not bothered with the transfer fee, and all he wants is to play football and show his talent.
“For me, Edouard is a huge talent,” said Kouassi, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“I would say he improves in every single game he plays in and he improves every day in training because he works so hard.
“All Edouard has to do is keep working hard and he will become one of the best players around. He is young, but he is very personable. There is pressure on him, but he deals with that well.
“Odsonne does not think about the transfer price or the big money. He just wants to play football and show everyone what a talent he is. He doesn’t get carried away.
