Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi is heading to Chelsea this summer after the Londoners agreed a deal worth 40 million Euros for the Marseille star.
Batshuayi turned down a move to Crystal Palace after the Eagles had a bid accepted for him earlier this week.
The highly talented young striker has had a sensational season in Ligue 1 and has attracted a lot of interest from the likes of West Ham United, Juventus and Palace.
Batshuayi will be Antonio Conte’s first signing as a Chelsea manager. The Italian was thought to be chasing Lukaku and Morata, but has decided to move for the Marseille striker instead.
The player will now travel to London for a medical and will then sign a five year contract with Chelsea.
The 22 year old scored 17 goals last season with the French outfit and Marseille will complete a club record sale for him.
Marseille’s previous transfer record was the sale of Didier Drogba to Chelsea.
The Blues will now look to secure a move for Batshuayi’s compatriot and Roma star Radja Nainggolan.
