Liverpool’s away kit for the 2021/22 season has been unveiled by Nike.
The away kit is a throwback to the 90s and features an off-white colour base which draws its inspiration from the away kit of the 96/97 season.
It’s all in the 𝚍𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚜.

The colour highlights the city’s iconic skyline, its commercial prestige and the global stature of the club.
The Nike away kit is also quite fashionable as far as the design is considered and reflects the city’s love of premium high-end fashion.
To reduce the impact on the environment, Nike have made the kit from 100% recycled polyester, which has been derived from plastic water bottles.
This is a part of Nike’s initiative that focuses on zero carbon and zero waste alternatives. The recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30%.
Meanwhile, the kit features bright crimson stripes on the collar and the socks. The 96 emblem is present on the neck, which pays tribute to the lives lost at Hillsborough.
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones believes that the new kit will be a hit with the fans.
He said: “I think the fans will love this one – it’s a perfect reflection of the city, and you can see the inspiration throughout the design with a throwback to the ’90s.”
The Nike 2021/22 away kits will be available on July 8 for Nike Members and on the 15th of July at select retailers.
Here is how some Liverpool fans have reacted to the new away kit.
