Italian champions Inter Milan have rather surprisingly thrown their name into the bidding hat for Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to a report by Goal.com, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has have had talks with Inter Milan representatives and has allegedly informed them that the Portuguese international winger is available at the end of the season.
While it is clear that at the end of this season, the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer circus party shall resume, the main contenders for the prized signature of the newly crowned European Player of the Year are thought to be the Spanish champions and for European giants Real Madrid.
But it now seems that Inter Milan have thrown their name too. The main factor to induce Ronaldo to Inter would be the presence of Jose Mourinho at the Italian club. Mourinho and Ronaldo are compatriots and it is believed that they foster a very good relationship with each other.
But does it sound very likely that Ronaldo would leave Old Trafford for the San Siro? Well, if indeed Inter are keen to sign Ronaldo, then we could be in for a ride!
