Leeds hoping to sign Matej Vydra from Derby County

Leeds United are interested in signing Matej Vydra this summer.

The Derby County star has two years left on his current deal and he will be sold in order to meet the FFP regulations.

The 26-year-old is one of the best strikers in the Championship and the Whites could certainly use someone like him.

Vydra managed to score 21 goals in the league last season and he is expected to cost around £10m.

Leeds have been linked with a move for Abel Hernandez as well and it will be interesting to see whether they can secure their targets this summer.

Both Vydra and Hernandez could prove to be terrific signings for Leeds. Leeds struggled to score goals last season and they need to add more firepower to the side if they want to compete for the top spots.

The Whites will be chasing promotion next season and they expect Marcelo Bielsa to take over and guide them to the Premier League.
