Roma’s Miralem Pjanic is one of the finest midfielders in Italy currently. The Bosnian’s future at Roma has been under speculation time and again throughout the summer. We had earlier reported that Manchester United had sent scouts to watch the 24 year old in action after there were uncertainties over his future at the Italian capital. Liverpool’s chief scouts were also present in Rome earlier this year to keep an eye on the dazzling creative minded player.
According to reports from Rome based media outlet La Roma, Liverpool had in fact tried to contact the entourage of Pjanic over the past few days. The Reds believe that Pjanic would be the ideal replacement for club captain Steven Gerrard who is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
Calciomercato have also reported that a €30m bid for Pjanic could be tabled and the midfielder would be offered a salary of €4m in wages annually. French side Paris St Germain are also interested while Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is also a huge admirer of the dazzling youngster.
TMW though have cited another Rome based media outlet Il Messaggero claiming that Pjanic has responded neagtively over a possible move to Anfield as he wants to stay in Rome. However, if a huge bid is tabled will Roma be able to restrain themselves for the huge cash on offer?
