Liverpool travel to Swansea in the Premier League this weekend and the Reds will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat against Villarreal last night.

The Reds were undone by a late goal from Adrian Lopez as the Spanish side secured a one-goal advantage in the first leg of the tie. Furthermore, Liverpool dropped points against Newcastle United in their last match as well.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be determined to end their winless run and extend their good run of form against the Welsh outfit.

Liverpool are likely to rest their senior players for the return leg against Villarreal and the likes of Ward, Randall, Ojo and Benteke could get a run out at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea suffered two back to back defeats in the Premier League and will be hoping to make amends in front of the home fans this weekend. It should be an exciting encounter between two teams who love to play adventurous football.

Team News

Liverpool will be without Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, Jordan Henderson, Emre Can, and Divock Origi for the trip to Wales. All five players are sidelined with injuries.

Defender Mamadou Sakho has been suspended for violating doping rules. Midfielder Philippe Coutinho was withdrawn at half-time against Villarreal due to sickness and might be a doubt for this game.

As for Swansea, Both Leroy Fer and Alberto Paloschi have been ruled out of the game with Liverpool with hamstring injuries.
