HAYDOCK RACING POST FAVS
I want to take on forecast favourite O’HANRAHAN BRIDGE in the opener at Haydock today, though he’s already on the drift which doesn’t make a sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 race market all that attractive. However, the way to oppose the original favourite might be to sell ‘RACING POST FAVS’ (at the time of writing the market was set at 59-63).
ASO could also be vulnerable in the veterans’ handicap chase (2.50), a race that is well worth tuning into on live horse racing streaming sites like Spreadex. These races are usually dominated by ten-year-olds and the year older Aso has never won a chase in a field of more than seven runners. One or two of the other forecast to start at the head of the market also look vulnerable, especially ANOTHER BROWN BEAR (1.15) and the market might have been set too high.
Recommendation: Sell RACING POST FAVS at Haydock
LINGFIELD 12.50
Alice Haynes has a phenomenal record with her handicap debutants, albeit from a small sample size, recording form figures of 211191 (4-6) for a profit of £44.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. UNIQUE CUT, who also makes her stable debut after leaving the Crisfords, won at Salisbury in August before a narrow second at Wolverhampton and will hopefully not try to make the running, tactics that were at a huge disadvantage here yesterday. She’s 7-2 in the Spreadex fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back UNIQUE CUT in Lingfield 12.50
