Champions Leicester City will be given a guard of honour at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, as we head into the final round of the 2015-16 Premier League season.

Sunderland’s 3-0 win over Everton in the penultimate fixture meant Norwich City and Newcastle United have dropped down to the Championship along with Aston Villa.

There is just the European spot to play for. Manchester United need a victory against Bournemouth, and at the same time, City must lose against Swansea if the Red Devils are to make the Champions League playoffs.

West Ham, Southampton and Liverpool will be fighting for the last remaining spots in the Europa League, although the Reds can secure a Champions League spot for 2016-17 if they beat Sevilla in the Europa League final on May 18.

Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Team News: United will be without the suspended Marouane Fellaini for the last game of the season. Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Luke Shaw are also missing through injury.

Tyrone Mings, Sylvain Distin and Adam Smith are long-term absentees are Bournemouth but Eddie Howe can field a strong team for the trip to Old Trafford.

Manchester United possible starting line-up: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson, Carrick, Martial, Herrera, Rooney, Mata, Rashford

Bournemouth possible starting line-up: Boruc, Daniels, Cook, Elphick, Francis, Gradel, Arter, Surman, Ritchie, Wilson, Afobe

United need to win this game but their position in the Champions League largely depends on what their derby rivals do at Wales. The Red Devils have a great home record this season, and they will look to continue that against Eddie Howe’s side, who have not won for five matches.

The game is also important for some of United’s players who are looking to make a positive impression to show they’re worth starting in the FA Cup final at Wembley against Crystal Palace. The likes of Herrera, Rojo (if selected), Lingard will be desperate to put a strong performance at Old Trafford.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Bournemouth

Swansea vs Manchester City

Team news: Francesco Guidolin has been given a two-year-deal after securing Swansea’s Premier League status. He has given time off to those players who will be involved at Euro 2016 which means the likes of Ashley Williams and Lukasz Fabianski won’t be involved.

City skipper Vincent Kompany has been ruled out for four months and the Belgian will miss the Euro 2016 in France. David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta are also injured.

Swansea possible starting line-up: Nordfeldt, Naughton, Amat, Fernandez, Kingsley, Fer, Cork, Sung-yueng, Barrow, Ayew, Routledge

Man City possible starting line-up: Hart, Clichy, Mangala, Otamendi, Sagna, Fernandinho, Fernando, De Bruyne, Toure, Navas, Aguero

This has been a largely underwhelming season for City and they still need a point from their visit to Swansea to secure Champions League football next season. This is a massive game for them.

City have come up short under pressure this season, and this could be a very tense game on Sunday. Swansea could finish in top half of the season, which is a remarkable achievement given they spent most of the season fighting for survival. They are safe in the league and are playing with complete freedom. This has seen them put in big wins against West Ham and Liverpool in their previous two games.

Prediction: Swansea 1-1 Man City
