Chelsea will be desperate to put the horror loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend behind them with a win in the French capital, but PSG are a formidable foe, and boast the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and reported Blues target Edinson Cavani in their ranks.

Team News:

Jose Mourinho confirmed in his press conference that he will make no change to the defensive back five that took part in the 1-0 defeat away to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Portuguese was his usual dramatic self on Tuesday, tearing up the ‘team sheet’ in front of reporters, having read out his back five with conviction, leaving us to guess the rest of his lineup in France this evening.

In the midfield, the Blues will be without Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic, who is cup-tied, so expect Mourinho to go with the midfield partnership of David Luiz and Ramires, with the latter having missed the last two games through suspension.

Oscar could start alongside Hazard and Willian, while Spaniard Fernando Torres is likely to retain his place, as Samuel Eto’o is still nursing a hamstring injury that he picked up against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago.

Prediction: 1-0; PSG are a dangerous side at home, and the Blues may struggle to score in the absence of Eto’o.
