Chelsea fans like us are eagerly waiting for three major announcements – a) Juan Cuadrado signing b) Andre Schurrle’s departure and c) Mohamed Salah moving to Fiorentina.
Cuadrado was in London on Saturday and watched Chelsea in action against Manchester City. The Blues have reportedly agreed a fee and all it needs is an official confirmation. Put it simply, the deal is as good as done.
The deal would also see Salah joining the viola on loan for the rest of the season. Reports Exclusive from TMW suggest that Salah’s move to Fiorentina is at risk due to taxation problems, which they claim as ‘unexpected’ and ‘surprising’.
The transfer dealings between the two clubs have stalled all of a sudden and although the deal is very much on, there is a certain degree of risk now associated with this transfer.
As per the report, Chelsea and Fiorentina have not agreed on the taxation part of the transfer deal and surprisingly the deal has stalled. They reckon it could go till the midnight to break this deadlock.
Update on the story: Sport Witness notes that the deal can happen as Fiorentina have sent a doctor to London to complete the transfer.
Fiorentina still hope Salah deal can happen so have sent a doctor to London so a medical could happen there. [FV]
