Manchester United midfielder Anderson has passed his medical and moves to Fiorentina on loan for the rest of the season. The Italian club reportedly have an option to buy the Brazilian in the summer, if the loan spell goes according to plan.
Anderson, who joined Manchester United for a reported fee of about £20m, has made 177 appearances since joining from Porto in 2007.
The 25-year-old has struggled to get games this season and just started three matches under David Moyes. The Scot said:
“We’ve not been able to get him as many games as he’d hoped, or we hoped we might get him. “We feel it’s a good opportunity for him.”
Manchester United fans have reacted on Twitter about this deal. Let us take a look at some of the tweets:
Fully expect Anderson to be a #mufc player next summer. Fiorentina have option to buy, but when they see how bad he is they’ll think twice.

I’m quite sad to see #Anderson leave! Never fulfilled potential but still better than @tomclevz23 #MUFC

Moyes is trying to buy new players to bolster his squad. Preferably central midfielders. Players like Pogba, Vidal and Gundogan were linked the club recently and one can guess very well that United will try to land at least one world class midfielder, either in this transfer window or in the summer. In that case, Anderson’s future could be well over at Old Trafford, if not already.
