Even though the January transfer window is two months away, there have been wild rumours surrounding Manchester United.
The latest one is that of Luis Suárez being a target for the Red Devils. As per reports from Don Balon, Manchester United are ready to break the world record once again in order to sign the former Liverpool striker.
Recently, United signed Paul Pogba for a world record fee of 89 million pounds and the Spanish outlet is reporting that they are willing to fork out 135 million pounds for the Uruguayan now.
Apparently, José Mourinho is a massive fan of the 29-year-old and will make a bid for him if Barcelona do not offer him a new contract. Lionel Messi and Neymar were recently offered new deals by the Catalan giants. They also add that Manchester City are looking to sign him as well.
Suárez is undoubtedly the best player in the world and it is no surprise that he is being linked with other top clubs. But a move to Manchester United is simply unthinkable. Suárez is still a massive fan favourite at Anfield and given his history with United and the infamous race row, a move to Old Trafford is simply not possible.
Suárez has scored 94 goals in 109 appearances for Barcelona so far. Considering his fitness and form, he could still be a key player for Barcelona over the next few seasons. There is absolutely no reason why they would let him leave.
