Another busy day in the world of British jumps horse racing this Thursday means more Lucky 15 tips from SportsLens tipsters. They have fancies across the cards at Market Rasen, Leicester and Wincanton on 2 December. Our Lucky 15 bet today has total combined odds of 337/1.
Including a 114.5/1 fourfold Lucky 15 accumulator, a £1 unit stake returns £338.84 if all legs of the wager win. All prices quoted were correct at the time of writing but odds do change. This is because of market gambles and increased betting interest at the races draw near. Let’s take a look at our Lucky 15 tips for 2 December in more detail:
Lucky 15 Tips Leg 1 – George Bancroft (12:22, Market Rasen)
Three-year-olds get lumps of weight for age in handicap hurdles and horse racing betting sites know it, so George Bancroft looks the one to be on in the opening conditional jockeys’ contest over an extended 2m at Market Rasen. Trained by Charlie Longsdon for JP McManus, this juvenile won at Fontwell and chased home Forever Blessed at Ffos Las last time out.
The powerful connections of George Bancroft now send him handicapping. Older horses on the same official rating of 112 carry a welter burden of 12st 1lb here. However, the Australia gelding has a nice racing weight of 11st because of his youth. George Bancroft is 13/8 to resume winning ways here.

Leg 2 – Zabeel Champion (1:37, Leicester)
An extended 1m 7f novice hurdle at Leicester looks a match on paper between Nurse Susan and Zabeel Champion. Preference is for the latter, who showed a likeable attitude when landing his bow over obstacles and course and distance last month. Trained by Jonjo O’Neill, Zabeel Champion is an exciting recruit to jumps because of his relatively high Flat rating of 103.
This four-year-old son of Poet’s Voice rallied superbly when challenged and prevailed by a head from Lydford on his bow over timber. As the runner-up has come out and won over Southwell, that gives the form a solid look. Despite a penalty, Zabeel Champion is battle-hardened from Flat handicaps throughout this year and last. Our Lucky 15 tips side with him at odds of 7/4.

Leg 3 – Runwiththetide (2:37, Leicester)
In the extended 2m 4f mares’ maiden hurdle at Leicester, Runwiththetide drops back in trip. Dan Skelton’s charge chased home the useful Nina The Terrier at Chepstow on her bow in this sphere back in October. Although a disappointing fourth at Stratford when stepped up in distance last time out, that may have been too much too soon.
It looks significant that Skelton, who has a 27 per cent strike rate with his runners at Leicester, brings Runwiththetide back here. The four-year-old Presenting filly may be better than her last run suggests. It’s worth giving her another chance. Runwiththetide is 3/1 to make it third time lucky over hurdles.

Leg 4 – On To Victory (2:45, Wincanton)
At Wincanton, the last of our Lucky 15 tips today is On To Victory in the 1m 7f handicap hurdle. He is below his last winning mark, so could be well-treated for Alan King. A useful dual purpose performer, this seven-year-old Rock Of Gibraltar gelding also won over course and distance off 3lb higher than his current official rating of 124 in January.
On To Victory wasn’t disgraced in the Betfair Hurdle off the back of that effort when tenth in Newbury’s big winter handicap. He was also good enough to defy a penalty and win at Warwick in March. As On To Victory needed a run over hurdles before winning last term, he should strip fitter for his fourth at Sandown behind Hudson De Grugy. He is 3/1 to do just that.
