Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sell the highly talented academy left back Brad Smith.
The young defender is set to undergo a medical with the Premier League outfit Bournemouth soon.
The Reds accepted a bid in the region of 6 million pounds for the Australian international and have negotiated a buy back clause for him as well.
Bournemouth have already signed Jordon Ibe from Liverpool and are now looking to seal the deal for the talented full back.
Daily Mail are reporting that Smith was given permission to fly out of Liverpool’s training camp yesterday and the player will complete his medical when he arrives in the UK.
Meanwhile, the Reds are looking to finalise a move for the out of favour Belgian striker Christian Benteke as well.
The former Aston Villa striker has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool and Klopp is keen to get a high earner off the books.
Crystal Palace are interested in the towering front-man and are prepared to shell out 30 million pounds for his services.
Palace’s initial bid of 25 million pounds was rejected earlier this month and the Eagles are ready to return with another offer according to Mail.
Benteke has very little chance of establishing himself as a first team player under Klopp next season and if Palace can offer him assurances of regular football, a move should not be hard to complete.
