Leeds United fans respond to Abel Hernandez’s Twitter post

Leeds United have been heavily linked with a move for Abel Hernandez this summer, but in recent weeks the interest has somehow cooled down.

However, the Whites fans are still excited about him, and they haven’t given up on the hopes of signing him this summer.

Last month, Leeds Live reported that Leeds United are close to agreeing personal terms with Abel Hernandez who left Hull City in the summer transfer window.

The Uruguayan striker, who has 27 national caps under his belt, is a free agent, and he is yet to agree a deal with any club, giving Leeds fans the hope that a potential deal could be reached.

The Yorkshire Evening Post also reported last month that Leeds were in advanced talks to sign him, but it seems such talks have stalled for now.

Hernandez seems pretty relaxed about his situation and he sent a message on social networking site Twitter sharing his upbeat mood.

According to reports from Tuttomercatoweb, Hernandez is also a reported target of Russian side CSKA Moscow.
