Spain showed why the are one of the favorites with a solid 2-0 win over France.
The French have not been in strong in the last year and don’t seem capable of challenging the top tier teams (Netherlands, England, Argentina, Brazil, Spain) in this summer’s World Cup. It wouldn’t even be a shock if they don’t qualify for the knockout stage.
The two goals from Spain came from David Villa in the 21st minute and Sergio Ramos in the 45th minute. The win give Spain’s role as a favorite even more weight after the victory.
