FC Twente managed to draw level with Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham three times at home in the UEFA Champions League Group A game.
Twente captain Peter Wisgorhof opened the scoring with an own goal and gave Spurs an early lead. It was all uphill from there for him and his team. Midfielder Denny Landzaat scored a penalty to level the scores ten minutes later. Both team went into half time all square at 1-1.
Second half brought more action than the first right away with four goals in the first 20 minutes of the half. Jermain Defoe managed to give Tottenham the lead twice only to be equalized by Venezuelan defender Roberto Rosales and Moroccon midfielder NAcer Chadli.
