CSKA Moscow 1-1 Sevilla
UEFA Champions League
24 February 2010
Sevilla would score first but CSKA came back to get a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
The first goal by Sevilla came in the 25th minute from Alvaro Negredo. It was a low cross into the box and untouched by the defense or goalkeeper until it reached Negredo at the far post for an easy goal. CSKA would come back in the 66th minute with a goal from Mark Gonzalez. It was a terrific strike from long distance and no chance of the goalkeeper saving it.
Neither team would score again and the second leg will be in Spain. Sevilla has the upper hand now with an away goal and only needing a win at home to advance.
