CSKA Moscow 0-1 Inter Milan
UEFA Champions League
6 April 2010
Inter Milan scored an early goal and then held CSKA scoreless as they advanced 2-0 on aggregate to the semifinals.
The goal came in the 6th minute as Wesley Sneijder scored to give Inter Milan a crucial away goal. With a 1-0 match lead and 2 goal aggregate lead, Inter didn’t take many chances as CSKA had to attack.
The home side would get some chances but they lacked quality in the final third. It was not a dominating performance from Inter but CSKA just couldn’t score goals.
The win puts Jose Mourinho’s side in the semifinals and a step closer to their first UEFA Champions League title.
