Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric is expected to be in London within next 24 hours, where his future will be sorted out. Chelsea are thought to his keen admirers, but the Blues are facing tough competition from Premier League outfit Leicester City to secure his signature.
Last week, English media reported extensively that Chelsea are close to securing a deal for the highly rated 23-year-old, who has netted an amazing 27 goals this campaign for Rijeka.

Croatian newspaper Vecernji also published an article last week where they claimed that a deal is as good as done; their headline on translation reads: “End of Story! Chelsea buys Kramarica and sent him on loan to Leicester!” – that roughly means “deal done”.
Also reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that the player could set for a Chelsea medical around 5th of this month, which is today. We wrote:
Should the deal go through which is highly likely, Kramaric will travel to England on January 5th for the medical, per Di Marzio. Chelsea will set an offer around €7-8m , on a four year contract with wages around €1.2m.
Kramaric is a complete striker, who is quick and enjoys the ball on his feet. He is a fantastic dribbler who has great control in tight spaces. But what really stands out is his footballing sense and overall positional awareness.
As it stands, Leicester are not giving up on the deal yet. They are ready to fight tooth and nail and are reportedly preparing a bid around €9m plus bonuses, higher than Chelsea bid, to secure his signature.

In the past 24 hours, French outfit Lille have also reportedly joined the race to sign the youngster. Italian media TMW in their exclusive report claims that the forward will be in London where his future will be discussed. The point of dissension is Chelsea would send the player on loan to Vitesse, which they usually do, but that is something the player doesn’t want at the moment.
Serie A outfit Sampdoria are also in the loop, but TMW is confident that within next 24 hours, we will get to know in details where his future lies.
