Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho paved visit in Brussels to watch Belgium in action against Colombia, but according to reports, he was booed by the Belgian fans, because they feel their local hero Kevin De Bruyne has been a victim of ill-treatment from the Chelsea manager.

De Bruyne has only managed 144 minutes under Jose Mourinho this season and could be looking for a move elsewhere in the January transfer window. Belgium national team boss Marc Wilmont, who was a former player of Schalke 04 said that it would be better for De Bruyne to join Schalke in January to get regular playing time, but at the same time admits, the final decision of course lies with Chelsea.

The player himself has spoken about his current situation to Belgium newspaper Sport Wereld, where he said he was unhappy with his performance for Belgium, but insists the central reasons due to it is for not playing regular games at Chelsea.

Further, when asked about his possibility to leave the club in January, he replied “May be”. And when asked about whether it could be any club in Germany, he added: “Germany is always a good competition. I know who is interested but I must not talk about it now. Chelsea is the boss and will decide. It’s only November It is far to January.”

Verdict: At the moment, De Bruyne can forget about getting regular game time under Jose Mourinho, unless his situation improves drastically. It is highly possible that he could be sent on loan in January, possibly to a German club, which might turn out into a permanent move as well.
