Inter Milan holds a one point lead at the top of the Italian Serie A table as they host Bologna.

After last weekend’s loss against Roma, Inter Milan’s lead in the Serie A is down to one point. They lead third place AC Milan by three points. Bologna is in 15th place and seven points above the relegation zone. Inter have seen a drop in form lately with a 1-2-2 record in their last five league matches. Bologna have a 1-1-3 record and lost their last three league matches.
The match comes at at time when Inter Milan need a victory to recapture their form of earlier in the season. They are 11-4-0 with a +19 goal difference at the San Siro. Inter will be without several key players because of suspension including Samuel Eto’o, Lucio, Maicon, and Jaiver Zanetti. Even if they aren’t completely at full strength, Inter Milan can get the win.
Bologna would probably guarantee their safety with a victory but a win is unrealistic. Inter Milan need a win to keep their lead and will get one because they are the better team. They will be without several regular starters but the home advantage along with a deep roster will keep Inter Milan on top of the Serie A table for at least one more week.
