Andrew heads to Uttoxeter for three recommended bets on Sunday November 21st:
UTTOXETER 12.40
GUETAPAN COLLONGES (system – owner J P McManus in low-grade handicaps)
Owner J P McManus, better know for big-race success at the spring festivals, does well with his low-grade jumps handicappers in Britain. Had we bet all those to run in Class 5 company we’d have found 102 winners from 455 runners (22.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £116.02 to a £1 level stake at SP. GUETAPAN COLLONGES reportedly found the tight Stratford track too sharp when a disappointing favourite on last month’s reappearance and is worth another chance. McManus-owned Class 5 handicaps who started favourite on their latest start have a 33 from 82 record (40.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £74.59.

ANYWAYYOULOOKATIT (system – owner J P McManus in low-grade handicaps)
Commentators’ nightmare ANYWAYYOULOOKATIT qualifies on the same angle as Guetapan Collonges and is worth an each-way saver in the same race. He was well beaten at Bangor last time but that was in a Class 4 contest and he’ll be happier back at this venue. His three runs here over 2m4f+ have produced a win, an 11-1 second of 17 and a 9-2 neck second.

UTTOXETER 1.10
TASTE THE FEAR (system – Worcester hurdle ‘flops’)
The fixed-brush style hurdles at Worcester don’t suit every horse and TASTE THE FEAR has tasted defeat at relatively short odds (3-1f, 7-2, 9-2 and 11-2) on all four previous visits to that venue. He jumped moderately when a 28-length sixth there on his latest outing and will be happier back over conventional obstacles. His record when switching from Worcester to another venue reads 11 (2-2) and he can bounce back today.
