Man City slashing spending, fire their ground waterer

Manchester City may be looking at a potential takeover and 50m of transfer funds, but until that dream comes true City have to cut costs.

After Psycho admitted that he was there for two years to ‘balance books’ at Manchester City, the club have now fired one of their most trusted ground staff members – although ‘let go’ might be more like it – DaMarcus Beasley.

In case anyone thinks (mistakenly, I assure you) that Mr Beasley was brought from PSV to Manchester City (on loan) to play, you’re dead wrong. Sitting on the bench does not resolve into playing.

So why was Beasley at Manchester City for this season?
