If you are a Liverpool fan, you’ve got to feel Spanish midfielder Suso who joined the club’s famed youth academy in 2010. The 21 year old who was tipped to have a great future for the Anfield side has been frustrated over the lack of chances ever since Brendan Rodgers took over the reigns of the Merseyside giants.
Suso had a dazzling loan spell at Almeira last season and it was believed that finally he would break into the first team for the Reds but things have gone downhill. Inexplicably, Rodgers has failed to groom him and the player has only made one appearance this season (he scored in that game) and it now appears that his future lies away from Liverpool.
The midfielder’s contract is set to expire in the summer and there have been no talks of a possible extension. TMW, citing Sky Sports have reported this morning that AC Milan have reached an agreement with his agent and a four year contract is mooted.
It is also reported that Suso will have a medical but it depends on whether Liverpool would like to part with him in January or wait till the summer. The tranfer is likely to happen as Rodgers doesn’t value the player and Suso isn’t indispensable for Liverpool.
