West Bromwich Albion are close to bringing Okay Yokuslu back to England, according to a report from Spanish publication AS.
The 35-capped Turkey international really impressed during a loan spell with the Baggies last season.
The 27-year-old made 16 Premier League appearances for West Brom last season.
During those outings, he averaged 2.4 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and two clearances per game.
He made 33.1 passes per match on average and recorded an impressive completion rate of 82.5%.
The Turk is gritty, tenacious and plays with his heart on his sleeve.
West Brom closing in on bringing Yokuslu back to The Hawthorns?
AS reckon that the Black Country outfit already have an agreement in place with the midfielder.
And according to El Desmarque, the former West Brom loanee is up for grabs for just €6 million (£5m).
With Celta Vigo keen to move the midfielder on this summer, it shouldn’t be too difficult for West Brom to wrap up a deal to sign him.
£5 million would be a real bargain for Yokuslu. Signing him would undoubtedly be a huge boost to the Baggies’ hopes of earning promotion back to the Premier League.
The West Brom fans will be delighted if this one happens.
