The Championship fixtures for the 2018/19 season have been released and Leeds United have been handed a tricky start.
Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping to fight for promotion next season and the Argentine will need to start well in order to secure some momentum for the Whites.
Leeds will face the likes of Stoke City, Swansea, Norwich, Middlesbrough and Derby in their first six games.
A poor start could affect the players’ morale and the fans will be worried about the fixture list. However, If they manage to navigate the first six games without too many poor results, Leeds could be in a very good position to challenge for the top places.
Leeds United already needed to improve their squad in order to qualify for the Premier League in 2019 and the new set of fixtures will certainly convince the Whites to splash the cash now.
