Chelsea have announced that the Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah has now completed a permanent transfer away from the club.
The former Basel winger joined the Blues back in 2014 when Jose Mourinho was in charge.
Chelsea beat the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool to sign the Egyptian back then. However, Salah failed to impress the Portuguese manager and was then loaned out to Fiorentina and then Roma last season.
Salah impressed with Roma last year and the Italian giants have now made the move permanent.
The permanent transfer away from Stamford Bridge is ideal for all parties involved. Salah has already proven his quality in Serie A and is already one of the best attackers in the league.
The player can now stop worrying about his future and concentrate on his football.
Antonio Conte decided to bring Juan Cuadrado back from loan this summer, but it seems that the Italian didn’t quite fancy bringing Salah back.
Mohamed Salah bagged 17 goals and 6 assists in 37 appearances last season.
