The next three games are absolutely vital for Leicester, including the fixture against Liverpool on Tuesday, that could determine the outcome of their season.

Many thought that at some point during the season Leicester would crumble under pressure and slip away from the title race. They have already surpassed all expectations and are not showing any such signs of slowing down.

On Tuesday night, the Foxes play host to Liverpool, who won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Anfield on the Boxing Day.

Liverpool are in a strange situation. At times, the Reds have played some eye-catching football under Jurgen Klopp, but have been equally inconsistent with their performances.

They are eight points off the top four at the moment, and unless the results improve dramatically, it is hard for them to close the gap with other top four contenders in the league.

The Reds played out a thrilling 5-4 win against Norwich in their last Premier League game, and should be in full of confidence ahead of this match. However, they have only won three of their last eight league games.

Leicester vs Liverpool team news

Claudio Ranieri is without Jeffrey Schlupp and Matthew James, both are out injured for this game. Ritchie de Laet is also a major doubt for this tie. The Italian, however, could field an unchanged side that won 3-0 over Stoke last time out.

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson is a doubt for Liverpool, but he is expected to start. Joe Allen could replace him should the England midfielder fail to recover in time.

Christian Benteke was poor against West Ham and the Belgian striker is likely to be dropped to the bench.
