Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has urged Juventus midfielder and Manchester United target Paul Pogba to join him at Real Madrid. Benzema spoke on Pogba’s dazzling talent which has helped Juventus win the Serie A title for three seasons in a row.
“He’s a young player who plays in a very strong team. Every challenge that play improves and reaches a new level. Now he has to continue to work as it is doing, but certainly I would love to have him at Madrid. Not that he is French, but also he is a great player.”
This is the second that the Galacticos have made public their interest for the 21 year old, the first being Real’s legend Zinedine Zidane reportedly calling up the player to join him at Bernebeu.
The Los Blancos won their tenth European Crown, the La Decima after beating Atletico Madrid in the final by 4-1 last week in Lisbon, are in no mood to rest on their laurels.
Real are set to pursue their interest on a host of players in the coming summer transfer market for their bid to reclaim the La Liga crown, the League Title which they desperately seek to reclaim.
Juventus might be tempted to sell their prized asset if a whopping bid is tabled by the Spanish side (a figure of around €60m is quoted), in view of adding major reinforcements to their squad as manager Antonio Conte is desperate to mount a Champions League challenge after winning the Serie A for three seasons in a row.
